In Home Montessori Child Care
for Infants and Toddlers
Welcome!
Hello! I’m Julianne Belanger, the owner and operator of PachMama Montessori Infant and Toddler Environment. Caring for very young children has been a passion and calling in my life.. I’ve always felt a deep, natural connection with infants and toddlers, and it brings me immense joy to support them in their earliest years.
My Montessori journey began back in 2005, when I took my first teaching position at a Montessori school in Minneapolis, MN. I was immediately drawn to the Montessori pedagogy, and what started as curiosity quickly became a lasting passion. I earned my AMI Primary Montessori Diploma (ages 2.5 to 6) in 2007 and spent a few years working with that age group. While I cherished that time, I found my true calling in supporting our youngest learners during their most formative stage of development.
In 2009, I helped launch a Toddler classroom as a founding staff member at an AMI-accredited Montessori school in St. Paul, MN. While there, I completed my AMI Assistance to Infancy Diploma (Birth to 3) in 2011.
After nearly a decade in Minnesota, I followed my heart, and warmer weather—to the West, where I worked as a live-in nanny. Since then, I've returned to classroom teaching and, more recently, spent the last four years as a full-time nanny to two wonderful boys.
Opening my own Montessori home environment has been a dream of mine since my first Montessori training in 2007. That dream is now a reality, and I’m thrilled to welcome families into PachaMama Montessori, where I combine my professional training with a deep sense of care and purpose. Here, infants and toddlers are nurtured in a peaceful, respectful, and enriching environment where they can grow, explore, and thrive.
